MontCoLyme is a 501c3 non-profit charitable education organization. Founded in 2008 in North Wales, PA, MontCoLyme is committed to helping
patients exploring or diagnosed with tick-borne infections through educational programs, resources, support, and advocacy. We encourage patients to advocate for themselves
in their goal to regain health. We offer patient education, and programs, as well as ongoing research and related news
updates. Anyone interested in Lyme disease and other
tick-borne infections is welcome to attend our support groups and
programs.
MontCoLyme also provides and coordinates professional education programs for schools, outdoor clubs/groups, medical professionals, mental health professionals, educational professionals and more upon request.
HOLD THE DATE AND TELL YOUR HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONERS: for the PA Tickborne Disease Medical Symposium - April 20, 2013 in Hershey, PA. Keynote speaker is Dr. Garth Ehrlich, a prominent researcher from the Allegheny-Singer Research Institute, where he is Executive Director for the Biofilm Research program, Center for Genomic Sciences, a Professor at Drexel University School of Medicine, and a prolific researcher honored by many awards over the course of his career. He has worked hand in hand with the "Father of Biofilms", Dr. William Costerton, who sadly passed away in 2012.
This website was created to provide information about our programs and relevant resources for those afflicted with tick-borne diseases and their loved ones.
NOTE: MontCoLyme initiated the formation of a state-wide Tickborne Disease patient group, PA Lyme Resource Network. MontCoLyme will become a chapter of PA Lyme in 2013, and this website will be replaced. STAY TUNED!
